Shaun McCarthy of Slate One Productions Canada produced, directed, wrote and starred in “Baggage: A One-Man Non-Musical Show about a Catholic Gay Man’s Dating Life (With Breasts for the Straight Guys)”, a festival-winning hour-long play that sold out in Toronto and played to rave reviews in San Francisco. Three years later, he did the same with the successful follow up sequel “Baggage 2”.

Swedish born Marti Baldecchi, executive producer and financial consultant for Slate One Productions ("The Investors", "Hollywood Treatment") is a renaissance woman also known for her vocal artistry, musical event production and horse whispering.

He earned his degree in film studies from Toronto’s Ryerson University. Short films produced, directed and written by include "Love, Mona" and "Immoral Act". Additional film work includes 2nd unit director on “Taylor’s Return”, work with Canadian entities Lions Gate Films, Fireworks Entertainment, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Inside Out Film Festival.

Lara Wickman McCarthy is currently living and working in Los Angeles.   Her award-winning film “The Investors” (Best Comedy, Best Actress) featuring horror legend Yan Birch (“The People Under the Stairs” by Wes Craven) was recently seen in numerous film festivals around the world. 

Current projects and collaborations include feature comedies “The Art of Family”, “Chasing the Fringe”, “Hollywood Treatment” and the thriller "I Did A Bad Thing".
